Discover the 2012 Mustang Line Up

The Austin Ford dealers are very excited about the approaching launch of the 2012 line up. Why is that? Well, there are two reasons, really. First, the much loved 2011 Mustang GT in Texas is about to be outdone by its 2012 predecessor. Though some changes have been made to make this beauty really sparkle, it’s the pricing that has car lovers yelling from the rooftops. Ford has dropped the price on one of its most highly sought after models. Why? Well, no one can no one can know for sure, but some are speculating that it has a little to do with another new launch for the 2012 selling season.

Right in line with the Ford F250 in Texas and the Austin Lincoln Towncar will sit a new favorite, but it won’t sit for long. The 2012 Ford Mustang Boss 302 is about to make its debut and critics are raving about how well it is to be received. For those who have already come to appreciate the power, the strength, the maneuverability, and, yes, the look of the Mustang GT, you are about to be floored, for the GT is going to be left in the dust as the Boss comes to the line with an additional thirty-horses in its engine. If that’s not enough, consider the precision of this design – new camshafts with increased life, larger intake valves, and the capability to hold eight and half quarts of synthetic oil at any given time. All of this comes together to create 444 horsepower at 7500 rpms.

But, it’s not just about the power for the Boss. It’s also about style, and this Mustang model leaves nothing to be desired in that department. With an old school shifter, a racing inspired steering wheel, and a sleek metal meets leather look, the interior of the car provides the perfect setting for endless hours of cruising on the open road. However, be prepared to be noticed, because like most show horses, this car asks to be seen. The familiar boxy front end is paired with a chiseled hood, chrome accents and a beefy body. Of course, this comes in a wide array of color options and with the opportunity for the super showy, precise pin-striping that has made the Mustang stand out for years. It’s the beauty and the beast in one package.

The Boss is still to be outdone in engine performance by the gorgeous Mustang Shelby 500, another sure hit for the 2012 car season. Whether in its classic styling or as a soft top convertible, this trend setter is equally as beautiful, just as likely to take the line in illegal street racing, and is a true showcase car. However, unlike the Boss, the Shelby starts as over forty-eight thousand dollars. So, for those who were looking for the added power, style, and speed of the Shelby, but with a price tag more like that of the standard GT, the Boss is where it’s at in 2012.
